Can a pick-off attempt at third base be called a strike? If it's possible, it's going to happen in this game.

Are you talking about the outside pitch that was called a strike?

LSU pitcher got some called strikes on pitches to lefties that were on the white stripe of the right-handed batter's box.

Has the zone been consistent batter to batter, team to team?

Speed limit is posted as 65; OK if they are ticketing people doing 60 as long as they are consistent about it?

Umps been consistent all game long, and LSU pitcher has been right around the plate all day long. That's a recipe for an expanded strike zone. I personally like it much more than watching 4 hour ball games.

Good to see LSU kicking OSU's azzz again. SEC ain't just a football powerhouse.

OS did too, it's just that the LSU pitcher could hit that spot better. Take what the ump gives you!

GEAUX TIGERS!

I've watched football and baseball going on 70 years and I came to the conclusion a long time ago that a guy has to be a better athlete to play baseball than a 'grunt' in football!! Baseball is a thinking mans' game!!

Agreed on the consistency. Simple fact is some umpires like an outside pitch, or a low pitch, and it's the pitcher and hitter's job to recognize that.
