My guess is about 60% of Pits are owned by the brain dead druggies, and about 20% are owned by people that think they are just a lab, the other 10% are owned by responsible owners. Math? It must be that missing 10% that do all that killing? What demographic owns the missing ones? oops, that 20% was supposed to be 30%. I don't suppose I could blame that one on spell check can I......... Fuggin' math Nazi!

People should be held responsible for their dogs, just like if they'd committed a crime themselves. I happen to like MOST pits, been around a number and the ones that are well-socialized and smart are awesome, absolutely spectacular. The bad ones -- well, they're cannon fodder. The owners in this case deserve felony second-degree murder punishment.

Its not the Pit Bulls.. they are very smart and loyal dogs...
they just follow the way their owners have taught them to be...
If you have to put a pitbull down for harming someone.. their darn owners should be looking at jail time also...

It is the pit bulls. No different than a Bear doing what a Bear does. It is just a Pit Bull doing what a Pit Bull does. It's just to bad some people are dumb enough to trust them. Then someone innocent gets killed. They should all be shot.

Just like a good hound is hard to pull off a trail a pit is hard to pull off the attack. That's a bread trait that makes them so dangerous. Any dog will bite and some will be more likely to bite than a pit but a pit won't just bite and run like those dogs. It is the breed that's dangerous.
I wish the breed was destroyed off the planet but the only thing that will help stop the violence is to charge owners with involuntary manslaughter or reckless endangerment depending on the circumstances,for every incident,and I mean charge owners every single time. They also need to have a mandatory tag installed with the owners information. Any untagged pit should be killed on sight.
