Rainbow cerakote?

I'm waiting on a 260AI to get finished up and I'm not planning on building anything else this year....but that plan could change.

Just a hint of rainbow.

The 260 AI sounds like a whole bunch-of-fun.

Just finished a 280 on a commercial Mauser action. Cerakoted Shilen barrel at 23in w/Obendorf handle and an MPI stock. Slick lookin rig.

#2 I'm waiting on a 338-284 built on a Turk action w/fluted barrel and Pacific Research stock. Should be close to 7.5lbs all up but the GS just keeps draggin his feet. powdr

I put together a 6.5 SAUM on a Defiance Deviant action, McMillan A5 Edge stock, Brux fluted barrel, Jewell trigger, Wyatt's extended center feed box and PTG Oberndorf bottom metal. Comes in at 11 lbs scoped. I need to send the stock off to get it hydrodipped in Kuiu Vais. I have Nosler 140 gr RDFs and JLK 130 gr VLDs I need to test out.

Just completed a McMillan stocked 9,3x62.

The .350 Rigby is a terrific thumper for a medium.
I owned a Rigby Double in this cartridge and a mate had the corresponding 360 Westley Richards in a WR Double.
The 350 used standard .358 bullets and the .360 used .366 or 9,3.. caliber bullets. (I did the reloading for both)
The Rigby was the more powerful cartridge and if you choose a bolt action, (more likely option) there is a rimless version as well, for obvious reasons.

I just finished this... Ruger no. 1 in .222 Rem. It's a callaboration of myself and Chuck Grace of Trinidad, CO. I found the scope at a gun show a couple of years ago and decided it needed a rifle. Being a nostalgia buff I wanted a 60's varmint rifle that I could shoot in local benchrest matches and, maybe, pop the occasional woodchuck or crow.

The only original parts are the action itself... I added a Kepplinger set trigger. It was originally a .458. It has a #2 Douglas barrel and a 1" Unertl target scope in 8X. The wood is circassian walnut. I made pattern stocks which were duplicated by Chuck and shaped the stock myself. Chuck checkered it for me and rust blued it.

I just got it back and have shot it in one match at which I was fire forming cases. The results were O.K. and showed some promise. When I get done fire forming and can do some load work-up I am hoping it shoots well enough to be competitive in our Factory Rifle class. (This, as opposed to the all-out competition class of BR guns.)

A lot more information detailing the build in the single shot forum.

Rebarreling a shot out LVSF in 22-250 to a 1:8. Adding an inch of barrel and threads for a suppressor.

Building a 338-06 to replace the one I sold to a friend.
Model 70 classic stainless action
#3 Shilen 1:9, 23 inch, threaded for suppressor.
McMillan compact edge stock
Talley lightweights
Leupold 2.5-8

210gr T/TSX will be the go to.
Going to try and put together a 250gr subsonic for kicks and giggles.

I build for a living. Mostly muzzleloaders.
But I probably will get 4 bolt actions finished in 2017.

2 are Lee "Speed(ish)" rifles in 303 that have been in the works now for some time. One is made on a 1941 Lithgow and the other on an Irish 1900 carbine action. Both will be stocked for iron sights.

Then I also have 2 Mausers in the works. One 9.3X57 and one 9.3X62. The 9.3X57 will be done in the style of the full stock Sauer guns made in the 1920. The 9.3X62is going to be a classic Mauser type A style. Both will have enough drop to use the irons, but also will be suitable for scope use too.

All the rest of the work will be muzzleloaders. I have 4 Hawkens to make, 2 very fancy American longrifles and 2 Jaegers. I am doubtful that I can finish all these before Christmas, but I'll be working on these rifles 6 days a week (12 hour days) until hunting season, and then after the hunts are done I'll be back in the shop 6 days a week until December 23rd. Between Christmas and New Years I usually spend time with family.

Had one of those in the works last year in 30 BR. But, I dropped it and opted for the 308 Win in an MDT chassis.

I have a small ring BRNO 21H Mauser over at James Anderson's now waiting it's turn in line. The plans for the BRNO are a new barrel chambered in 7X57 with integral quarter rid, front sight and swivel island. A new safety, bolt handle and bottom metal are also on the work order. Now I may have to wait on the stock, I'll just have to see how my cash holds up.

Here is the barrel blank. Once the rib gets contoured and the "band" gets turned into an island it should really look nice.
