Hey guys! Been looking for a pair of lightweight boots with decent ankle support. Early season hunts in 90-100 degree weather.
I am thinking about the Lowa Innox GTX Mid TF. Anyone use these boots or have any other recommendations for a lightweight pair of boots?

I've been using Hanwag Mountain Lights and I like them a lot. Here is a similar boot that I haven't tried but I'd like to, the "Banks GTX" :

Altra Lone Peak Neoshell mid or Hoka Tor Ultra High are my current personal picks. Slight nod to the Altra's for my foot.

+1 on both of these. I also would give the nod to the Altra.

I don't like the Goretex boots for warm weather. I prefer the Lowa Renegade leather lined. I've had the same pair for close to 5 years and use them quite a bit. I hiked 15 miles the other weekend. They probably need some new foot beds because I've worn some holes in them at the heal and the ball. Great boots.

From Hot Weather Central, something to consider -- do you have to have goretex? Slice it any way you want, it makes a boot significantly hotter. I only use it for cold weather boots. But what if it gets wet? Big deal, it will dry. At 90 degrees who cares? I would bag the GTX. Also, pardon the blasphemy, but nylon is cooler than leather. If you can wear Asolos, that would be my choice.

I have been known to sport knee high Chippewa snake boots with shorts on hot days smile

I don't want to ever hunt in 100 degree weather! Holy smokes.
