This hunter style knife has a cool piece of elk antler on it with blue liners and a mosaic pin. The blade is an old Nicholson file that I etched in copper + ferric chloride. It brought out a cool natural hammon in the blade. OAL is 8 1/8 with a 4 1/4 inch blade. Pretty nice one I think

Been a while since my last post. I had a heart attack the last week in September. Dr. thought I wasn't going to make it. But 4 stints about 1 inch long each and I'm back to normal. Tons of meds and diabetic now too. Oh well.....

Here's one that I just finished. 416 layer Damascus hunter style with brass, blue and turquoise spacers. The OAL is 9 7/8 with a 5 1/4 blade. Sheath will be leather of course

Dan, as I have said before when I grow up I want to be you or at least have your talent. And I'm only 75!

The most beautiful knife work I've seen, ever.

You are a true artist.

I made a new sheath for this Mammoth Hunter. I think it flows better with the theme.

Just finished my first folder. I drew up the pattern in Corel and worked it all out. Titanium frame with Elk antler scales and buffalo bolsters. The pivot screws are Ti also. The blade runs on bearings sandwiched between stainless washers.

You do beautiful work. That folder is a work of art.

What's the dimensions on your folders? Compared to your hand they look really large. Absolutely beautiful.
