I'm always looking at knives, but seldom get where I can hold a CRKT in my hand. Only place I've seen them was a few shows that I no longer get to.
What would be the best choices for quality in an every day folding knife from CRKT?

Haven't held one, but like the looks of the Hootenanny.
Has the bunch of numbers/ letters steel that's easy to sharpen.
If I carry something other than a case stockman or trapper, it's a kabar dozier or Ontario rat ii.

I've got a couple that are OK. Big 5 used to have em on sale cheap here. I miss Big 5.

some of their designs are ok, but don't look for good steel in their products.

I have a Kasper/Polkowski CRKT folder that is dam near 20 years old. Still have it and it still is a good knife but it was put away once i bought my first Benchmade Griptillian . Personally I would not buy a current production CRKT if my life depended on it.

I carried an American made M16 for years, then they started making them in China and the quality went to chit. The tiny screws holding the scales and belt clip would continually work loose.

I carry a CRKT Shenanigan drop point that's a Ken Onion design. I actually bought a second and just swap them out between sharpings. I have learned you get what you pay for(with rifle scopes) and I'm going to make a step up to benchmade here sometime the try it. But I really like my shenanigans.
