This is good stuff here, this is what I really enjoy about selling hand made knives .........

Bret Dowell EDC post .
These knives are spoken for. The heat is on in Oklahoma.
This is the knife I worked with Bret on,and what he came up with. It is nothing fancy but the simple design is what is the beautiful thing about it.

" I can't put down the blue knife. Scales were just a tad thicker. It feels good. Blade steel is a touch thicker than the first knife I sent you and goes better with this pattern I think. It's a perfect little knife. " says Bret

The first was .093 ,these are .108 . So basically in between 3/32" witch I first specified, and 1/8" They are ground thin, very scalpel like, and I get the sheaths from Larry Parsons double stitched.

With many orders on Bret's books & his daughter Taylor now in the shop , I've asked if she would like to do a few of these.

We are going to take few orders , at a very slow pace .

So post your comments ,and thank you all for being here .

Looks like a very useful pattern. Dimensions? Materials? Cost? Delivery time?

Thanks, RS

This is copied off my site

Bret Dowell " EDC " . I worked with Bret to come up with a compact drop point, that's big enough to easily dress out a whitetail ,but could also serve as an all around fixed blade,or bird knife too. It is compact but yet has a four finger grip,it melts in your hand. I told Bret I wanted a Dowell though. This is what he came up with, his design. 3/32" D-2 is hollow ground & scalpel like. Green linen, red liners,ss corby bolts & lanyard tube. 6-7/8" OAL with 3" blade from tip to handle,2-3/4" of edge. Larry Parsons right side vertical belt loop sheath. I have the same sheath with no loop if you prefer. I personally think this is the sweetest little EDC drop point.

That is the text from the first one I sold ,by Bret. It went for $300. . That includes USA shipping and Paypal fee's

I'm hoping to be able to offer these by Taylor at around $225. Paypal fee's & shipping extra. That 225 number may be a few dollars more ,I've just started to put this in the works,it's slow going & a process.

But I feel I can stay at that. Knife will be tang stamped T Dowell

This was the first one

Ditto

I've sworn off buying any more knives but it's tempting.
