I've done a couple...... There's still a little "flat" left on the top side. While Mcm states a #5 as max, I've seen more than one on their site inletted for a Varmint. I'd still lean HTG if going to a Varmint contour.....

hangunnr Campfire Regular H Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,065 IN	It's doable and as Aalf stated there is still a little flat left on top. I'd not want anymore barrel in that channel. If you don't get silly with extra barrel length it's a nice feel in the hand.
