Why did it charge? Crappy 1st shot? Lion wound? Snare on his leg? I don't know, but do know one thing by studying the anatomies of the Cape Buffalo before my hunt, anytime you're messing with an animal that either one of his testicles is four times larger than his brain told me there is NOT a lot of reasoning reserves in a beast like that. They fight, screw and eat, they can see right off you're not a girl or nice patch of grazing grass, guess that just leaves ass-kicking. I had too deal with a charge once. Elephant cow. She was pissed. I shot her sister? Cow and she went bezzerk trying to sort me out. Had my Searcy .500 Nitro. 570 gr. Knyoch Woodleigh solids. Glad that rodeo played out in your favor Z.

DF Both SCI and Rowland Ward. They both use the outside spread for measurements.
