Nasty thick timber. Big balls on these guys. Could go on and on with thanks and still miss many because of the rush of all actions. Bottom line is, dont pass a chance to pray for your friends.

You raised two fine boys.

Glad you're ok.

I would have driven down to help out but I was busy testing loads in the Krag.

Sporty!

Doesn't look like that front yard would carry fire very well.

Glad you made it through.

What now? Grass? Cows? Hay? Water? How is it shaping up?

Ben,

Looks like you have dodged a bullet.

I sincerely hope everything is Ok and you are all well.

Been a rough year but I wouldn't bet against you all.

Did the place to the northeast that was for sale get eaten up, or were the fires west of you?

Nasty either way.

I love it when a plan comes together.

What kind of a Christian has never prayed for a drunk.

I pray for a drink quite often. Especially during a long sermon. smile

Nate all the houses down here were saved. It was right next to that one though. You know the cottonwoods by the backstop where we were shooting pistols? It got in those, maybe 50 yards to the north of the backstop. It was all around us, north, south, east and west. Those cottonwoods were bad because they kept smoldering.. Nash and I kept going down in them a couple times a day to check on them and cut up smolderers and drag them into the black.

Yuck.

Sounds like it started at the base of the lake area.

You have all had one rough year. Fall hunting will be tough this year, i'd imagine

If we can get out that way, Neal, Steve and I can get some larder together, but it won't be til next spring.

I'd be catching some pike if they are still biting and I hope it stays out west of you.

I never thought bringing cajun shrimp into Montana would cause this much havoc....

Seriously, I hope you've got the worst of it.
