I hope your new Ford treats you right for years to come. Your experience with Dodge sure cooled my jets on that brand for a future truck. Guess I'll keep my old Ford 7.3. I have to heal up from buying a new tractor anyway. I think it's the roll of the dice.. That was the first problematic Dodge I've had. But I felt lucky to get out from under it. We have a 2015 3/4ton 4x4 Ram diesel that's as good a truck as you could ask for. Hell, it gets over 22mpg in mixed driving. Wouldn't trade it for anything!

You're gonna love that truck as soon as you figure out all the bells and whistles and buttons. I just bought a new Super Duty 350 last month and so far I can't find anything to complain about.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.

Michelin All Terrain II's... Look pretty decent. At least for awhile... If they start having flats, or don't grip good enough, I'll put these on it. https://www.treadwright.com/collections/filter/products/claw-ii-c2317eThose are some TOUGH bastids on ranch trucks. Used them for years. Usually last twice as long, or longer than other 10 ply tires I've tried. Those aren't for city boys.

Those look like an interesting option.
We just ditched the factory tires on a 20' goose neck stock trailer. Total garbage, 2 ply polyester sidewalls or something ridiculous like that. I guess they lasted 5-10k miles....
Stuck a set of heavy duty Hankook's on it.
Hijack over!
Now, does the A/C work when you're idling or does it run warmer? Trying to think but you have to switch it over to another setting to get cold air while putting around?

Did you get that brown one? I did~ Caribou! Great! Best looking Ford color they use nowadays. Your gonna love that 6.7 Diesel ! I could not find a King Ranch F-150 SuperCrew 4x4 that color anywhere in TX when I got my new truck last year. That was my first choice. I ended up going with the last production version of metallic black, since every other Ford I've ever owned has been White with the tan King Ranch trim. I call mine El Negro

Sam, on the 6.7 2016 F250 I test drove, I left it running on the Dealers lot for 30 minutes just to check the Engine Temp gauge change for any overheating. I got back in and you could hang meat in the Cab! And on my 2014 Ford F-250 6.7 Diesel. I'd sometimes leave it idling in the pasture for 3 or 4 hours when rounding up calfs to take to the Sale Barn. And sometimes 3 or 4 hours at the Sale Barn. Nice to get back in the cab when it was 104 in the miserable TX summer. I'd rather bleed than sweat

Before you buy any truck, you need to see this video... https://youtu.be/k_5Uj3WJBM0
I was thinking the other day how much I used to hate Bill Clinton. He was freaking George Washington compared to what they are now.

I'd rather bleed than sweat I know we are brothers somehow! My comfort zone goes away when temps get in the 80's... Yesterday was about 107* here. Dammit! C'mon November! Sam, I idled it at the car lot for half an hour or so when I was transferring some stuff over, and it worked well. Other than that, I haven't tried yet... But I will, for sure. Usually feeding, or greasing and fueling my tractors, etc. will tell the tale. Think I need to get the windows tinted on it as well. The Dodge had dark tint privacy glass on the back and rear windows, but this one doesn't.

It sure is easier getting all the crap out of the old truck, than getting it into the new one! Got everything pretty much situated, but still missing a few things... tire pressure gauge, etc. Not as bad a moving, but nearly...

They're also on the MAGA plan!

Good looking truck. I love the brown. I too have been tempted to switch over to the Ford side of the fence, but I'm still hooked on the Duramax. Yours is a beaut!

Just FYI: I've got Michelin AT2 tires on both of my Duramax diesels. The one truck is worked hard, pulls heavy and is bounced down gravel farm roads daily. These tires wear like iron, ride great, are quiet and durable. The only downside is their tame looks—more tread would look more bad-ass.
