I wanted to give a shout out to Orvis for their great customer service.
I recently sent in my late father's Orvis 50A spinning reel for repair to their shop in Vermont and just got it back today.
I had attempted repairs in order to correct a sluggish bail, and sent the resulting mess to them about three weeks ago.
I got the reel back today in great shape with a new bail cam spring and cam pivot spring. I had asked them to put new 4lb test on, and they did that, too. All for the $30 standard rehab fee.
