I had purchased a Sigma 12-24mm Art from Joel at Cameraland and it arrived last week. What better place to inaugurate the wide angle than the Grand Canyon. A friend from Colorado called on Friday morning, so we made plans to meet on the North Rim. Cape Royal is my favorite point on the north rim, and he liked the view too, so we shot 2 sunsets and one sunrise there. I think the new lens spent most of its time at 12mm. Great images. We get some wonderful lighting around here too. Just no topography to put under it. Cookie is tired of my comment that we need the Tetons out the back door.

Thanks Ray and 1' I noticed that Photobucket has sucked the sharpness out of these images.
