We have both a Polaris 900 and Polaris 1000 and they are both pretty quiet, much more so than the 500 Ranger that we sold

The Polaris XP 1000 is one of the quietest I have used .

Yep[Rhino], they were way out front back in the early 2000's.
Never thought of my 06 660 as really loud though. Seems about the same as my old 300 4trax.
