I filmed all this in March, but just haven't had time to edit it until now. I sure wish it was as cold now as it was in the video. This hot dry summer is not my idea of a good time. I'm wired for colder weather. Anyway, I hope you enjoy a little trip on the Missouri River in Montana.

Yes I know what riprap is, but I'm not sure why you asked?

Lest I be mistaken I think he was asking if you knew what kind of stone was used to make that rip-rap. The geological derivation of the material.
Just a guess on my p[art o course

LouisB, I think you are probably right. I have no idea what kind of rock it is, but I know how to catch the fish near it. wink

Nice fish! I can't believe you had the whole place to yourself.

BTW: Good on you for taking a guy with a Seahawks hat fishing. I don't know too many that would let that slide!

I think the pictures pretty well prove you know how to fish the area.
I will have to mimic that technique elsewhere.
Are they in there all the time or like some fish here move in when release/generation stirs things up?
NICE fish by the way.

There are some fish in there year round, but there tends to be more when they spawn. Rainbows spawn in the spring, the Browns in the fall. It is also good all winter long but not as fast and furious as during the spawn.
