Buddy has an 1895 that is about 10 years old.

Stamped JM. Only model info is 1895 " Big Bore. "

22" round barrel, 45-70.

What model is this for pricing purposes.

never heard of a Big Bore marlin. sounds like a standard 1895 SS. if so, its 4 bills or so.

Kind of what I was thinking with model. Only Big Bore I knew of was Winchester.

You won't get it 400. 500 at minimum, is my guess.

Some people like pistol grip some straight. Some think pistol aborbs recoil better. Some think straigh is faster handling.

Some people really covet the JMs. Though they tend to forget there was issue then too.


Buds is has had some good prices lately. standard around 450. Marlin was running $100 rebate, but that ended 7/31. So lots of people were buying. Might drive price down a little. Plus Walmart closed out of a certain model, and people were buying them up. Again might help price.
