Yes Sir,good info. I would only add that not all #4's are equal. That even holds true sometimes in different models from the same manufacturer. My favorite of all time is the Mepro #4 that was in their discontinued 3-9X42. That particular #4 had very heavy bars that came very close to a fine center. It was such that IMHO it gave the best of both worlds, a fine center for precision but heavy posts close enough to bracket a deer's vitals easily in low light, even if you couldn't see the fine center.
