I recently aquired a Staggs-Bilt 30-30 over 20ga. Very cool little survival gun.

The gun has a piece broken off of the extractor lever. I need to find someone who has parts for these guns or find someone to loan me the part so that I can have one made. If anyone knows of a parts source or a parts gun. Please let me know. rwalter7juno.com

Thanks!

I don't have any exact answers. The following is the link to the patent it is based upon and the diagrams have some detail that might help you.

I've owned several of those over the years, including some needing repair. Never did find a source for parts. I think you'll end up making your own. I can take measurements if you need.

Okay, I appreciate the help. I'll try to take a photo this weekend of what I need and you can let me know how hard it would be to measure. Thanks

Not hard, just time consuming. It will probably be next week before i can get it done. I'll pm you when i'm done.

Perhaps unneeded observation (cuz I don't know a better solution), but that is a complicated part and you'll probably not like the price for a machinist to make one. To cut it from solid will require a surprisingly large piece of metal, most of which will be cut away. It may be possible to start with a section of heavy channel, but then the challenge is holding the workpiece. The originals were cast (as are most of the parts in the gun). No visible machining marks other than the recesses for the cartridge rims.
