Wow I never thought I'd see the day a model 12 in good shape would be this cheap relatively. I'd snap it up but I have its twin in the safe now. $395 is 870 express Mossberg500 territory.

I have one I bought new in 1963 for $85. Best shotgun I ever owned. Used it for everything.
Still have it, retired & resting in safe. I love that gun.

Still have it, retired & resting in safe. I love that gun. Retired?????? Mine is as deadly as ever on doves turkey, quail, crows , small game , pheasant, even an occasional chukar at the preserve. I even take it to the clays course just because.. Get that thing out and give it some sunshine this season ;^)

Had my Model 12 16 ga out yesterday for the first time in years. Have owned it since I was a kid, 55 yrs ago! Took it to a preserve for the day. What a wonderful bird gun, points and come to shoulder like a fine O/U. Who really needs a rib? Winchester had the right plan over a hundred years ago!
