My daughter has been shooting archery in 4H. She wants to get into shooting the Olympic recurve more. So far been shooting a compound or a club owned loaner recurve. To get more serious it's time to buy her own riser and limbs. Hunting bows and shops are everywhere... Where do we go in Missouri to touch and feel target recurve risers? She really wants to feel the grip before committing to buying something.

A local archery club would be your best bet. Other than that contact Lancaster Archery. They will have entry level risers with interchangeable grips. It may not be exactly what she wants but she should at least be able to choose between a low,medium,or high grip.

You can mod or even make grips. Some aftermarket stuff is available too.
Decent entry ILF bow for target..............Hoyt Excel.
Buddy has one. I shot it pretty good, but think I'd like a higher wrist grip.......Hoyt sells one called the Ergo.
