Was in Wall Mart yesterday picking up a few things for the wife. Of course I had to swing by the guns and ammo counter as long as I was there.
They had 12 gauge shells on clearance at three bucks a box. The brand name is Suprema and made in Spain.
12 gauge 2 3/4 1 oz 7.5 shot.
The kid at the counter said the stuff was on the shelves for a long time and not selling so they put it on clearance. I bought 200 rounds and yesterday afternoon I shot two rounds of skeet and a round of trap. The ammo worked just fine. All shooting was done with a Remington 870. Today I went back after work and picked up another 200 rounds which was about all they had left. I don't hand load shotgun shells so it was nice to find a deal like this.

Love that stuff. Shot it all last year. 1315 fps if I recall.

Yep, 1315 fps. That's what it says right on the box. It worked well for me and at 3 bucks a box you can't beat it.

I have not seen anything at Walmart for less than $6.00 a box in a long time. Acutually $5.95. I don't shoot much, but have been thinking about loading some shot shells, since I inherited an old Pacific loader, along with a bunch of plastic wads and a couple of bags of shot. Don't know much about it though. miles

I went to my local wallyworld today and they had these in the wrong spot. I asked the lady to check the price and it rang up $3 so I cleared out the 20 boxes they had.

Mine Walmart in Central Texas also had federal 1 1/8 oz for $4 a box on sale.

You bastard! Our Fed Premium was 5 bucks a box. I scored 15 flats. :-)

1 more cup of coffee then off to the Texas Dove opener!
