If I zero my Marlin 1895G @ 25 yards loaded with Hornady 325 gr. FTX Leverevolutions , where do you think it'll hit at 50 and 100 yards?

Thanks, Deerstalker. You said yours was +1 @ 50yds and back to zero at 100yds. Are you shooting the same ammo as I am (Hornady 325gr Leverevolution) and did you originally zero @ 25yds?

mine are +1' at 50 and then back at zero at 100 Are we talkin' about plus 1 foot, as in 12 inches, or did the OP grab the wrong punctuation mark? An Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary has less of an arc than the 45/70 and the ammo in question.

It depends on your bore to sight axis,.....iron sights?? Optics?? Velocity?? BC?? Once you have that info any good ballistic program can give you the info. JBM calculations is easy and free.

I'm shooting the same rifle and load. If you're zeroed at 100, your good all the way in. I shot mine from 25, 50, 75, 100 and 125 and the group spread was under 3"

Unfortunately I can't shoot mine at more than 25 yards. But it is dead on at 25 yards. So I was wondering where it might possibly hit @ 50 and 100 yards if zero at 25?

One ballistic calculator I have says 325 gr @ 1800 fps zero @ 25 should be about .75 high at 50 & 75 and .1 low at 100. That is just a SWAG based on limited data, YMMV

Agree with uncle joe and I did that very thing this morning. Centered at 25 after bore sighting and it was almost dead on in elevation at 100 yards. I ended up about 2.5 inches high at 100 which should get me dead on at 150 and 6 inches low at 200. Beyond that it drops like a rock.

i sight mine 1" high at 50 yards with the 325 LE and it is right on at 25 and just a little low at 100. so ya, a 25 yd zero is deer meat from 25-100 with a center hold on. this is with a leupold vx2 1.5-5x20 on talley lows. the last time i shot it at 200 it dropped like 18 inches though but that might have been my eyes.
