Was monkeying around a little yesterday and decided to try a few shots over my Magnetospeed to see where I could push the 195 Berger.

Loaded them to 3.600 which is about as long as I can load them in my rifle.

No issues at the 73 grain charge so I imagine I could push them up a little bit at nearly 2900 they should float pretty well.

This is one of the 195's next to a 154 IB.

I may try doing a little speed testing with Retumbo as well. I've got plenty of case space and that might really push em. Just wanted to throw that up for the MSM crowd. I loaded 4 up to try on paper the next time I get out.

Interesting results.

Retumbo and RL33 would be interesting to see. I would think 3000 or around there would be doable.

If I get the chance I'll try it out Matt and see what happens. I left a couple of empty cases for testing speeds. That bullet 3000 would be some kind of wicked. Kinda cool to work with those long suckers.

Here's what I got when I ran it with Retumbo.

Loaded up a couple of them to try out on paper. They are pretty intriguing with that sorta BC on them. At 2900 or above they should darned near float.

That's pretty cool man.

I think the 180 ELD with RL33 would be a killer combo for flat shooting. I think the 180 has a touch better BC than the 195.
