I played soccer in college in central Georgia with a guy from Venezuela named Alwyn Brillembourg.
Alwyn was a nice guy, fluent in English, was going back home after he graduated in 1975. I wonder what has happened to poor Alwyn.
He could have had no idea, 40 years ago, of how his country would slide into the abyss of socialism.
