I thought about trying some with RL17 or H4350. But, they are going to be equivalent to varmint bullets. The bullet might not lose much weight but that speed is going to tear stuff up.

I even had that issue with 120 ttsx bullets in 7mm. Penetration was not an issue but they were very destructive.

I've been using 100g's in my 6.5x06 very successful on deer that's why I want to try them in the 300. Don't mind the meat damage when the animals mostly drop on the spot.

Would sure be a barn burner. Can't see it blowing up since its solid copper.

They won't blow up. I've shot a lot of deer with a 120 TTSX out of a 7mm rem mag at the speed of heat and they do minimal damage. Same with a 100 TTSX out of a 6.5x47.

I have used 130 TTSXs in my 300 WM. About 3500-3600. Worked like a charm.

I'd say the 130 was a better choice than the 110. Sometimes those very light bullets don't group so well.

If I was wanting to use the 110, I'd see how it shot. My money would be on the 130 outshooting the 110.

Don't know 'till you try.

In the smaller calibers, I've seen and heard that low S.D. bullets at warp speed don't perform as well on game as one may think. The .308 cal 110 wouldn't fall in that category; just an observation.

been loading these (110 vmax) in my 300WM the last few months with IMR4350 and getting about .6-.75 MOA to 300yds. haven't shot them past that, don't really need to. Just picked up a magnetospeed, so will be getting more data on them. Also trying some IMR 4064 since it's a bit faster. Will post results after this weekend.

I've whacked a few chucks with this load, expecting a bit of the pink mist, and was severely disappointed. Hit one about 100 yds away, bullet seemed to barely expand, the second one was shot at about 200yds, good amount of blood and managed to crawl back into its hole. not really what I was expecting. So far, Dirtfarmer's observation is holding true.

Shooting multiple charges with the 4064 and 110vmax, my best groups were with 69gr with MV around 3650. Def sub.75. With a little more tuning, I bet .5 can easily be achieved. I wasn't able to compare MV to the 4350 because of the 3 chucks I encountered on the way to the range smile

I can't remember if it was on the campfire or If it was on A/Reloading...

Conversed with a guy in Northern Norway, who was asking my opinion
of 110 grain V Max out of a 300 Win Mag on Seals in Norway... which
I guess is legal...

he used them on head shots.... before he pulled the trigger, they had a head.

after he pulled the trigger they didn't... they just had a neck...

so one would gather they were kind of destructive...
