His is much better looking at 9yo than his dad's ever was...
That pitch went for a triple off the fence! When he does it right he can hammer a baseball. His "big fly" collection is currently at 2, but I suspect that will get much bigger before he's done playing. Putting one over a 200-220 fence is a good poke for a 9-10yo.
Sorry for the dad-brag...

My middle son who is a senior at Mizzou at the moment, went out this morning on some public land and had some success. A couple look to me as if he was a tad too close. :-)

I've worked on a lot of kids swings when I was coaching my kids , so I know a good one when I see it. As he grows and gains more strength in his wrists and forearms, he will begin to REALLY drive the ball with a swing like that...
Cool that your raising them hunting too! Your doing a good job all the way around Dad!!

Sooner or later our heritage of hunting is going to be a rich mans sport and the words "Outfitter" and "Hunt Industry" will be synonymous with cancer and A.I.D.S. among blue collar hunters like me and my family! (A.L. Williams - 2010)

X- Thanks! I'm trying, which is about I guess all dad's really can do... Jim- Yes, he may want to back up a bit! Glad to see him have time to get out a bit. Where I did my undergrad at, hunting was not something many other students did. One Saturday morning I went out and ended up bringing two squirrels back to the fraternity house. I hung them from the basketball goal to clean them. It didn't take long for word to spread and in no time I had a bit of an audience. Even had a volunteer for #2 to learn how to do it. I fried them up that night for my dinner but ended up not getting a bite. Fried squirrel worked excellent as bartering material...
