All good here. Mannlicher sheltered me and my boat through the worst of it. I made my way home yesterday to assess damage. House is fine and I have power etc. Some branches down but that seems about it. I once again have to thank Sam for the refuge from the storm. Good rum and good company made things enjoyable in spite of the circumstances.

I was in 3rd Grade when Hurricane Donna hit , we had a 4 car garage behind the house which was flattened by a horrendously large oak tree. I remember my Dad picking me up at school and walking me the 2 blocks to the house , I grabbed a chainlink fence and was horizontal instantly, the wind was that strong.

We are safe thank the good lord above!

No power, downed trees and very few stations with gas!

Winds speed at Naples airport was gust of 142. Seeing my father-in-law's house, I'm saying it was higher! I'll check back as cell service allows.

power off in lot's of gapwr and emc countryside. mine stayed on for a change, maybe due to the cutting of the wild crabapples in the front yard earlier this year. anyways, lot's of trees down, nothing unusual about that. florida got hit much harder than us in georgia, but still bad enough here.

it kept shifting west, but coastal sc still got walloped pretty hard.

Power at my house came back on about 1 a.m.
Best I can tell all good. Got some trees down all over town. All in all, we were slammed worse with Ivan and Opal. Wish I could sent a little of that rain out West.

16 hours without power, no damage but lots f wind and rain. Still a lot of people without power in Ga. A few deaths from trees falling on homes and cars etc. A lot of trees down in my area, but the winds have died down.
