7mm WSM 162gr ELD-X How far away from rifling ? I recall A-Max bullets like being seated into the lands. Sierra 160 gr TMK I seat .020 away from lands. The Hornady bullets will be my deer bullet .
My 7 likes a .050 jump with eld X. My 260 likes the .020. Go figure. I tried seating longer in the 7 mag to start with but accuracy improved with a little more jump. Go figure. Tikka Hunter.
