I recently read a post by John B that he had gone to one of the newer IMR powders primarily because of ease of use with less copper buildup. I can't find that post. Does anyone remember which powder? John if you are reading this could you reply with that info?
Thanks Jim

Search for the 270 R26 and 150 grain load and for 4451 or enron powders.

Brain fart, happens a lot. My search would start and stop with R26 especially with the 150s but some of the ENDURON powders are even more temperature insensitive than R26 so is R23 but not a big issue with R26.

Found it. IMR 4451. Thanks folks I was using IMR4350 for 130's and H4831sc for 150's. I decided to split the diff with 140's and went to the same powder you chose and am VERY happy with the results. Good luck.

I just feed my dogs charcoal briquettes and saltpeter, then give them Mtn Dew mixed with Everclear. I dry out the piles, run them through a crushing process, fill cases to the mouth, and seat bullets. The lab mutt gives me 2850 and great accuracy with 150 Partitions, and the springer spaniel gives me over 3K, but wandering accuracy with same bullet...

I will still use H4831SC because I haven't seen any build up of copper in my elk meat.
