He's testing the resolve of the most powerful nation in the world, testing the patience of the most powerful man on earth, he WILL sit at the big table as a nuclear power...when that happens all sanctions will be dropped, and Lil' Kim wins freedom/power/trade/revenue/control as "supreme leader"

If we squeeze China and China in turn cuts off the NORKS fuel and food supply the hope is that there'd be a coup. The people would rise up and overthrow the gerbil. I'm pretty sure that a regime change is China's biggest fear. China is walking a tenuous tightrope because a stable Korean Peninsula is not in China's best interest. Anything that weakens the USA is in China and Russia's best interest. China has gone as far as they're going to go.

We are China's biggest customer. They aren't likely to want to "weaken" us too much. They might prefer to simply "overtake us" but not drag us down.

Exactly, a coup is not what China wants...but American military with THAAD systems on their border isn't good either, China wants NK to be treated as an equal at the big table...and their problem goes away without them losing 1 single nickel in trade with the US or NK. China is working all of us, they refuse to be ordered to do anything by anybody.

Kim will NEVER relinquish his nuclear weapons...never. Who approved all the other nations for their nuclear supply ?, many aquired them and said "fugg you, we want some too"...just like NK is doing.
