Yep, you got that right Richard !! Here's a couple from last weekend - Labor Day/29th wedding anniversary @ Blue Lake. Saturday at camp, we did back ribs & a bacon & hot Italian sausage stuffed chicken in the charcoal smoker. Sides of peaches n cream corn on the cob, Idaho style dressed taters & baked beans. Sunday night (29th Anniversary) was hand cut rib eyes in the cast iron griddle, sautéed mushroom caps, same taters again & a Caesar salad with home made dressing (raw egg, anchovies, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, dijon mustard, evoo, s&p etc. Last night was chicken parm, egg noodles & a Caesar salad.
Paul.

Glad to see you blend in a bit of beef in those meals Paul, I'd hate for you to grow gills, and fins!

Smothered chops from a couple pigs we got the last day of turkey season. Garden peas, tomatoes, radishes and sweet potato chips. Scuppernongs for desert.

Well, not exactly dinner, but will be in the future ! Ground some of last years, vacuum packed deer chunks & pork, for 20kg of prime burger. Good to get it done on a rainy weekend.

Looks good. We're down to the last couple packs of last year's deer. Freezer is more air than meat right now.
You people and your Clamato Caesers. My mom's side of the family is into that stuff. I dunno. I like a Bloody Mary, but.

Tritip, Santa Maria style again over mesquite with strawberry, walnut, spinach, feta, etc. Topped with spicy vinagarette..
I probably ate 2 lbs. Of meat....

Pretty good stuff. The gent who made them rimmed the glass with what tasted like Old Bay but was advertised as "made by two guys in Canada" so maybe not. Also brought back 24 mallards and 6 Specks so the freezer is happy.

Leftover spaghetti and meatballs. I love leftovers....more times than not they taste better than the first day and you don't have to cook.

Charlie, I'd like to quote Jed Clammit on possum innards, and greens. "They is just as good the next day."

I think collard greens improve with an overnight in the fridge. Same with chili, a lot of soups, and cheap pizza.
I like leftovers for breakfast.
