I may have hit the blue steel and walnut ceiling of intermediate Winchester collecting:
This is the core of my Winchester collection:

12 gauge Model 21 c. 1932
.270 Model 70 FWT 1958
12 gauge M97 Riot 1934

[Linked Image]

I am not fond of the Model 12 or Model 94.

The only Winchester left for me is a Model 71, a gun for which I have an irrationally exhuberent desire

I might be motivated to trade one of my other two Model 70's towards the right 71:
1955 .243 Model 70 FWT

Or
1949 .257 Roberts Model 70

Beautiful rifles! I bet that Roberts shoots flatter than Kansas!

How bout a 65 and a 64 to go with the 71?

As an aside those model 70s look great with the lower magnification scopes on them. I really like that look, kind of old school!

Oh there's lots still to collect...you could collect 37's or 43's or the various .22s are fun also.
I have thought that collecting an 11, a 40, a 50, and a 59 to go along with my SX-1's would be fun.

I thought every Winchester collection had to have at least two 94's?

Beautiful...... by the way.

Maybe advanced intermediate.

What I mean is that to do a lot better would require playing in a whole different ballpark

Model 12's are like 70's with variety. Field in various grades, trap, skeet. 16-20-28. No many have a nice 28.

If I had the money, after model 70s I'd go for model 12s, model 64s and 21s if I was really flush with cash!

Are 95's of interest to you? They've been one of my favorites for some time.
