I finally have done ok, not great, but ok. I finally decided that whatever my brain told me to hunt for that day or in the case of how we hunt on the deer lease anyway, that morning or evening, we sit it out till the end.

Very tough to do though.

Regardless the maize you two are playing will eventually cross paths.

Just relax and allow it to do so.

There is actually a lot of pressure on the backside of the property thats what makes me nervous I hunted this property only 3 times during archery and have stayed out it's only about 20 acres

I have to set a time max or min basically. IE I will NOT leave regardless until X oclock or 15 after sunset or whatever. I go by the clock exactly then. have for years.

Found that when I'd leave early it tended to screw me... LOL.

One thing I will violate with a firearm is a hot doe with bucks on her. They tend to be stupid and if they pass by and no shot, they generally don't come back...so if I feel the need to move I will.

20 acres won't allow that.

Just don't violate the wind/thermals on 20 acres... as I know you have not done.

Then its up to time spent and sometimes it just flat won't work itself out or someone else gets lucky. But the more you do, correctly, the closer you are every minute.

I have played your game, watching cameras before, and played it out until the day or time was right, moved in, and been done in less than 30 minutes a few times... one hunt, one sit and done. But also have to have luck involved.

Have you tried using scent like code blue or tinks

No scent
things slowed up again just a spike this morning and cameras went dead
locked up with doe likely rut is peaks and valleys wait um out

Try some code blue estrous I've had 2 come in on a string in the last 2 weeks right to it powerful stuff

when I do use doe piss it's real from a deer farm not store bought crap

Three/four days since the last sighting - he's done with the last doe he's been courting.

Just got back since opener Saturday. My son & I saw deer and black bear every time we sat. Both of us passed on everything so far. Not big enough. We got time.

It is with heavy heart that I must announce the piebald deer is dead a hunter killed him on another property. Hopefully I can get a picture of him
No sign of the droptine buck yet had this guy pass this morning back at it again this after noon.8 days in a row of hunting for me and counting
