Currently have a 2007 Gator XUV 620I that was bought new in 2007. Has 1080 hours with no problems. Engine is a liquid cooled Kawasaki with fuel injection. I have done all the maintenance, it has never been back to the dealer.

Any idea what it's worth? Should I make a change now before I have to spend money on it?

The Kubota dealer that I bought my new tractor from is coming next week to do replace a windshield washer pump and is bringing an RTV 900 for us to test drive. I figure I can burn ag diesel in it and that it should be very easy on fuel.

Opinions and experiences please. Thanks

Depends on what type of terrain you'll use it in. The Kubota Diesel is heavy, with limited suspension articulation. They don't do well in soft or muddy conditions. Bulletproof machines though.

I've had both. The JD is a better ride. Both are great machines. I ended up keeping the Green one - you can't go wrong with the Orange one either...

While I like Kubota's and their diesel engines your Gator is ten years old and worth about $3900 on trade for an RTV 900. If you are contemplating something specific that it will do that the Gator doesn't I suppose it is worth getting but if it is just to trade up in would not make sense to me. 1080 hours in ten years is nothing and you know what kind of condition it is in. I would keep it given my uses for a side by side.

How long have you had your Kubota and which model? Do you burn ag diesel in it?

I bought mine about 3 years ago with 105 hours on it. It will certainly burn agg diesel, mine has the metal cab with AC, radio, CD player and heat. 3 hydraulic remotes in the rear for attachments and hydraulic lift dump bed. Ours has performed flawlessly for us.
