How have you guys carried while riding a motorcycle? Any tips and/or caveats would be sincerely appreciated. Is this where shoulder and chest holsters reign? TIA! PS. Pics would be awesome... just because

If I'm wearing an untucked shirt, then a G27/26 is in a Remora IWB holster on my right side.
If I am wearing a tucked in shirt & no jacket, it's in a front pants pocket & I care less about the extra bugle; if I want a slightly smaller bulge, then it might be a J-frame or a Ruger LC, but the way things are these days, more than likely, it's the Glock.
If I'm wearing a jacket, it might be in a jacket pocket or an IWB if I have an untucked shirt.
Easy peasy & it's a very rare day riding that I am not armed; ditto for my wife who rides her own bike but she carries in her purse in a saddle bag.

I almost always carry in a shoulder holster under my riding jacket.

In my jacket pocket. Also in my tank bag. Usually have the LCP 380 in my front pants pocket and a Kahr 9mm or H&K 40S&W in the tank bag.

Tom

It depends on the environment where I am riding.
For riding in town, I just use normal CCW type holsters and methods. For off road/2-track dirt road/rural riding, I prefer either an El Paso Saddlery Tanker Holster under my jacket or my Hill People Gear Kit Bag. Both have benefits and drawbacks.

Leather jacket has a gun pocket, and can clipped to the windshield bag. Black bag, black holster, black grips is very unnoticeable..

AIWB for me on street or dirt, same as everywhere else. It's not super comfortable but is the most accessible for me and least likely to injure me from falling on it. Seems like the biggest consideration on a bike is to find what works with your riding gear, as long as that's not "small of back" carry.

Pics would be awesome... just because EPS Street Combat on the belt, or EPS Snap-Off Elite or similar... M. Rosen makes a bunch I use too. If it's cooler weather I just put the (example) P-9 in the inner pocket of one of my vests.. Many choices..

I'm sorta thinking of using a Kifaru Koala chest rig that goes on top of all my clothes. Whatever I carry will be well protected if I dump the bike and I can carry my other junk in there and still have quick access at stops/breaks.

Being an ATGATT type, there was no way I wanted steel anywhere over a bone in case of an accident. I always carried in a tank bag. When I got off the bike I'd drop my jacket on top of the bag and scoop the pistol up into an interior jacket pocket when leaving the bike.

IWB at 4 o'clock, anything from a Colt commander to a 4" Colt cobra. I used Ken Null's rigs the horse hide ones were great.

On an ATV or in a UTV,
EPS tanker holster, or pacific canvas replica, (K-frame) depending on handgun. There were some great deals a few years ago on the actual new surplus tanker holsters. can't remember the site, but they were the light colored ones that go with the desert sand camo.

Well, I rode around this weekend and ended up just shoving a G43 in the zippered, right front hand warmer pocket of a bomber-style motorcycle jacket. In retrospect, I should have put it in the left pocket so it could still be accessed “at speed”

It's been a few years since I rode a motorcycle, but when I did, I carried my Smith 1076 in a Galco Jackass shoulder holster.
