Is anyone shooting the Norma tactical or match rimfire ammo? If so, how is it performing for you?

I've shot the tac in a handful of different rifles. it's grouped very well in all of them.
I used to shoot a lot of SK standard plus but the Tac had shot just as well for me and is easier to get at good prices so I've been switching over

Saw that Midway (I think) has tactical and match rimfire ammo pretty heavily discounted and was curious to know more about it.

Have three rifles that shoot it well enough, occasional flyer at the 50 yard line. Also have a new Contender barrel that apparently likes it. But then it seems to like CCI SV as well, which I find totally bizarre.

These 5 shot 50yd groups were shot with TAC 22 by two different rifles. I've been very pleased with both the TAC22 and match 22

my experience, my rifles only, 50 yard benchrest:

many people love TAC, never really shot exceptionally well for me. folks over at Rimfire Central fall all over themselves saying how great this stuff is.

Norma match, shoots well, occasional flyer. I have several bricks from a past Midway sale.

SK Standard Plus, much the best for this price range.

Most important, find out what your rifle likes the best.

I agree. My Cooper nor my Rem 504 like either of the Norma rounds, the CZ loves both with a slight preference to the TAC.

Those who are always shooting off at the mouth usually aren't shooting straight.

That's pretty much my experience. My 452 shoots SK standard a tich better than the Tac but you'd have to be shooting in a match for that tich to be worth measuring.

Totally agree with this. One of my Kimber Pro Varmints throws Tac into patterns close to 1" at 50 yards, but will chew one little hole with SK...

Got a little bored one day and bought a brick of these guys when they were on sale. Went home, threw these waxy bastards in the 40+ year old Marlin bolt and got average MV of 968, with ES of 63. This is the only time I put a rimfire on the speedo, but why the hell not. Hopefully this helps you guys.

I never had much luck with TAC-22 not terrible but not great either, S-K std plus is some better . S-K rifle match and pistol match is good for me they average 5 shot groups mid 3"s in my 452 Trainer @ 50 yards

I would not go looking for lot numbers on TAC, but would with SK.

...and of course on the elite stuff is a given.

Don't forget the hardware. I find that the Annie standard barrels are less picky than the heavies about ammo. I sincerely do not know why.

My CZ 455 really likes the Norma Tac-22 and Match 22. S&W Victory 22 loves the TAC. Stocked from Cabela’s sale now and ready for next years club Shoots.

Three cases or bricks? Shipping for my 3 bricks with 2 M1 carbine magazines was only $14.49. I can see three cases costing $50

TAC and Match shoot well above their price point in the 54s and 52s I 've tried them in.

Federal UM has performed the best for me, but it's over double the price.

At $420/case delivered for Norma Match, I couldn't resist.
