Hey fellas, anyone still shooting their mid 90s HBV (blue receiver push feed, stainless barrel and HS stock) in 223 or 308?
If so, a few questions please?
Being that its a push feed, any reliability issues with the extractor? It seems more robust than a M700 set up.
Is the trigger system same as Classic post 64 CRF or different set up?
What are the barrel twists in 223 and 308? Seems like there is mixed info on google search.
Barrel length is 26 for both? How about contour? Like a Sendero or straight taper? Muzzle OD?
Are the ring and bridge round and flat or both round?
Thanks!

I shoot a Heavy Varmint in 223 and do have the occasional ejection issue with the case being dropped on top of the follower. I haven't figured out exactly what is causing it and as a varmint/bench rifle it is just a minor annoyance so I haven't pursued a cure strongly. Original M70 trigger system-not the MOA of the new M70. 26 inch barrel measuring .870 at the muzzle, pretty much a straight taper. I believe it is a 9 twist but I have not tried anything heavier than a 60gr Vmax. it shoots 40gr-60gr bullets very well. Round bridges. Standard M70 mounts fit. Mine weighs in at 11lb 4oz with a Weaver KT15 in Leupold rings and DD bases.
