I got my sight from Buffalo Arms for my Browning Model 1895. I'm going to drop it off at my gunsmiths to have installed. How many holes have to be drilled and tapped?
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I think just one. I didn't open the bag, it has the instructions inside, I'm sure the gunsmith can figure it out.

Just the one rear hole. Front hole uses the finger lever pin removal hole.

Any chance the sight uses one of the two holes that are factory drilled and tapped for the receiver sight?
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Any chance the sight uses one of the two holes that are factory drilled and tapped for the receiver sight? Nope I don't think either with line up. Also those existing two holes are like 6 x 48. I believe the hole that has to be D&T'd is like and 8x32.
