I'm new to ARs and I have a question. I'm headed down to Savannah in a few weeks to visit family. My nephew has a Diamondback Arms DB15 in 223. I would like to surprise him with a new trigger for the piece. Is is a small or large pin rifle? A second question is what trigger should I buy? I see this one at Brownell's on sale: https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/triggers-parts/triggers/ar-15-enhanced-triggers-prod67223.aspx

My nephew is using it for shooting hogs. He shot four yesterday. What do you recommend?

To my knowledge, Colt is the only company that used large pins. Can't help on choosing a trigger.

Thanks for the comeback. From what I have read today, you are correct. Colt used large pins for a few years. The trigger should be perfect for my nephew's fast shooting at fleeing Georgia hogs.
