It's who I'd call.

It's been a while since I ordered a McM stock so when I do pull the plug and order I will probably come back with questions.
Good idea..

To those that stated Redneck name...I thought I somewhere he only works on M70 actions...I must be getting up there trying to remember everything.

New to the forum, but have read here for years.

If I was needing an action worked over (a pet peeve of mine to say blueprint cause who's blueprint is it?) and a barrel chambered and screwed on, Long Rifles Inc used to be very quick and very good. I haven't shot any of my rifles since late last year, but I had Chad build a 223AI for me early in 2016. Ridiculously accurate rifle. I am lucky in that I do all my stock work so don't need those services.

There are other very good builders out there and many mentioned already have a stellar reputation.

Personally I'd prefer Redneck or Jim Kobe.

I have a 280 ai that Kevin Weaver built and a 6.5 creedmoor built by Score high ( Charley Robertson ) and both are fantastic.

If there is one thing almost every modern day gunsmith can do, it is to work on a Remington 700. If you were looking to build on a 1908 DWM Mauser, the list would be somewhat shorter. GD

Another vote for Redneck. Lee does outstanding work and when he is done with a rifle it SHOOTS!!
