Thought I'd kick it off.
PSA 300BLK 16" , Ace stock
Leupold VXR 1.25-4
HSM 125GR Sierra PH.
85+- yards.
Neck shot. You can see the entrance below his left ear.
2 bucks came in right to left. I noticed the spread on this one and decided to take him.
He fell to the broadside neck shot, kicked a couple times and expired.
Round exited whole. Showed expansion but not anything huge. Nickle sized exit.

I'd have smacked him because he is a cull for sure. that big and a 6..... I live to take out the trash!

300 is for subs IMHO.. but yours worked nicely it seems. 950 fps 194 lehighs work really good suppressed....

Appreciate the branch too. Not many do that these days.

The blackout is an excellent sub round but, it's also strong as a super.
I can use the rifle in BO during hunting season and swap to an iron sighted 5.56 upper as a truck gun rest of the year.
The BO feeds in STD mags unlike 7.62x39.
.308 bore allows me to load any multitude of projectiles.
It's very quiet for a rifle.
The buck that accompanied this guy never even jumped. He literally stood there and watched his buddy kicks couple times then walked off.

working on a 300/221 upper suppressed if I get time to tweak it. I was not going to since I don't care for the action noise too, but then started trailing deer with our dog and he is so good at it, I've had to kill a few wounded ones with a glock 20. its a bit loud for me and for his ears. Sub would be best, semi might help... we'll see how it works out.

I know they are ok super, but they are superb subs. As to standing there, I've had em do that after a loud mag shot too.. I've seen others run like hell on a puff from a sub round too. You just never know. I've shot a handful of pigs with a buddies suppressed by super sonic 300/221 AR and every other pig in each group has ran like hell.... a shame it twas.

Hope you clear out the genetics of that 6. Lord thats not what needs to breed for sure.

Neck shot, the only shot I won't take. But you and I differ on a few things.

The suppressed rounds have never let me down so I just keep running quiet rounds vs not quite so quite. Plus I can't recall needing a 2nd shot with the suppressed bolt gun yet.

Thats some sausage on the back for sure. Good job.

the 300 subs are about the same as a 45acp, 200 grains at 900fps.

As long as I don't stretch it past 175 or 200, that load has worked just fine.

Now if I could get rid of the damn first round pop sometimes, I'd be tickled...
