OP jimmyp Campfire Ranger J Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 18,300 Mobile	I want to carry a take down rifle in a knapsack but the overall length is 26 inches. I don't need to carry a lot of gear for a dayhike but would like to take the rifle, so I am not looking for a larger backpack. Anyone have any ideas??
