We have the same Sitka deer living in the marshes along the Chesapeake Bay...except smaller in size. The same rump, same color, spots on the hide and rack symmetry. In a cold winter and the marshes freeze the Sitka deer have to move to solid ground and you can hunt them like rabbits......jump shoot them out of the tall grass.
