Rich, he's referring to your signature line right below your screen shot. He thought you were calling him stupid. Actually about the stupidest sig line that I have ever seen.

The Model Seven takes the same mag box as a 700, so if it works in one it works in the other. The WSM case is too long for the Remington short action hence Remington ' s short mags used shorter cases than Winchesters. The Winchester short action is more roomy and would be a better choice if you want a WSM.

Well, plenty of Remington 700 and Sevens have been chambered in WSM rounds from the factory, and have worked just fine for most.

I do not see any of the short mag varieties on the store shelves in my area...nor do I see ammo for them. I did the 7 SAUM in a Rem 700 with the 24" barrel. I liked it. I would have liked it better if It had a 3.00" cartridge overall length capacity.

They have been produced in WSM chamberings since shortly after the beginning release of the WSMs. Or, maybe you just want to buy a brand-new 700 in one of the WSM chamberings, see: Rem700 SPS in WSMOr, used Rem700 in WSMs: GB Rem 700 300 WSM search, and another for 270WSM Rem 270WSMOr a brand-new Model Seven in 300WSM, see: Model Seven Stainless 300WSMAs for historical Sevens in WSM chamberings, they were made in the XCR, Whitetail, and CDL versions that I know of in both 270 and 300 WSM.
