This is a Columbian crested CZ Model 48 mauser that was reworked by the Federal Firearms Corp. The rifle does have a Timney trigger and it was re barreled with a fairly light contour barrel. The stock I did refinish and the butt plate does say Fajen, but I do not know if it is a Fajen stock. It would make a fantastic kid or woman's hunting rifle. Only real reason for parting with this one is I have several in this caliber. 330.00 shipped from a private party.
Ken, I think it's a damned good buy as well for someone, especially for a kids first hunting rifle. With as slow as things have been here though you may have plenty of time, lol. All you gotta do though is tell me you want it and it's yours, like I told you, I'm in no real big hurry on the funds as long as I know it's gone. Nice part about it is, with you being here in Montana, if we can't figure out a ride for it, I can ship it right to your door.
Pm returned STW. It is drilled and tapped. It has a weaver rear base on it now, but I pulled the front base to look at the crest and I don't know where I set it down. If I find it, it will go with the rifle.
