VG condition 308 Montana barreled action dropped into a new Hunter stock. I added an Ascent-style Titanium bolt handle a while back. Comes with 1 factory Hunter mag. No factory box and I don't have the factory bolt handle. This rifle shot under 1" in the original Montana stock with factory Barnes 150 TTSX ammo. I shot it maybe 100 times.

$695 shipped Lower 48 with Talley Ltwt Low 1" Rings (Scope not included). If you want the VX3 2.5-8X with M1 elevation, add $300. Scope NOT for sale separately.

Richard - Should be 5.5 lbs bare rifle less a few ounces for the bolt handle. I can lay it on a scale tonight and report the exact weight with the scope. Don't want to pull the scope until it's sold as it's sighted in for my ammo.

Have you shot it with the Hunter stock? Is it bedded, free floated?

I have not shot it with that stock. Stock is completely factory - not bedded. Free floated - yes as it came from the factory.

What happened to its original stock?

Why did you swap it out?

I wanted a 6.5 CM Montana, so bought a 6.5 CM Hunter and swapped the stock out with the .308. Basically subbing a 308 for a 6.5.

Nothing wrong at all with the 308 BA or the Hunter stock.

If someone buys the rifle and does not want the scope, I'll sell it for $325 shipped. But only after the rifle sells.

Any issues with feeding from the magazine?
