addendum, I can NOT wait until I have a nice roomy sleeping bag at the house up there, and a nice recliner outdoors, so I can just crawl in, with a scotch in hand and sip until I fall asleep watching them....

That pretty much sucks at 40 below. Trust me. Hot buttered rum works better. Use boiling water, Drink fast. BTDT.

I'll probably be ok. Dang the luck. The bags are -60... LOL. but I'll have my fill before we have the days of -50 or I'll pick and choose... zero out and it would be relaxing.

Just dropped a niece off at the airport and the Aurora was pretty spectacular even with all the light pollution.
