All,
I just layed away a Marlin 1894-FG in .41 Mag. Seems to me this will be a very "fun" gun.
Does anyone know what the suffix FG stands for???

Supposedly FG is fingergrip and on the 44 PG is pistol grip the FG is available again for 2007.

C.J.,
Thanks for the answer. That's about my luck. When I noticed the absence in the 2006 catalog, I thought it best to grab one while I could.

I bought a Marlin FG 41 mag a year ago and simly love it. It shoots best with slow burning powders and Sierra's. It will easily shoot inside 3 inches at 100 and inside an inch at 50.
good luck,
