This is a Remington Rolling Block. I picked the Vaver because they have adjustable screw in apertures. I believe I have available about 6 sizes of apertures for both front and rear sights. A blessing for old or poor eyes. It should be ready soon. It was built for a primitive buffalo hunt.

Will be a beauty. I would be tempted to have the screws and pins nitre blued if you want a little glitz that is still historically fitting. I would have to at least give a paper patched load a try maybe even burning charcoal in it. Would be nice to touch off a round and when the smoke clears you see buffalo feet in the air.

Oops just looked again and the pins are perfect. It is nice they case hardened it as a unit and the pins got highlighted.
