Very nice and I hope that you get him. Nothing gets the juices going like a photo like that of something on the property. Those G2's and G3's are pretty strong. I can't see the brow tines, but I'd sure think solid 140's. It has been so wet up here in the north that we had a terrific growing season, so I suspect some really nice antlers will be coming out of the Midwest this year.

Its hard for me to make a decent guess with only that blurry side pic but he looks to be a solid 150" buck....I would most likely shoot him if givin the opportunity......Good luck.....Hb

That buck will probably score in the 150's, not enough height, width or mass to be a 170 but still a very nice one.

I have 3 150 deer on the wall and a couple of 140 inch deer....This deer is bigger than Those....Looks to have Very good mass.....Width well past his ears... Decent tine Height G2s look to be around 11 to 12 ".....10 " G3s ..... Long main beams.....Barrel chested fully mature ....I will stick with the high 160s to 170s Gross....Hurry up and kill him and prove me right.....

I've been professionally trained and scored over 50 bucks in the last 4 years for two organizations. I agree with high 160's to low 170's gross

Before I read these last two posts, I was thinking he looks pretty wide to me. I have a 152 buck on my wall, and this guy should top that easily.

I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is deer hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.

Any guesses? my guess is mid 40's.......Hb Just a click or two more but not much. And I only posted it because my neighbor had several pictures of this deer from the same/similar angle as the OP - he and his buddies were convinced it was mid 160's. They all appear much bigger from that angle or directly behind. Regardless, I'd be loosing an arrow or making boom on the deer in OP's pict.

Considering the OP's longer tines and main beams, addition of the G4's, and appearance of more mass, I'm sticking with my original guess of high 160's to low 170's gross.
But you're right, pics can be very deceiving. I've been fooled a good number of times.

I'm guessing mid 150's on both deer Skane's appears too me to have a wider spread, but slightly less mass on the tines.
I would absolutely pull the trigger if I saw either deer during the season.

If that was a TX buck it's only be a 140+ buck but my understanding is you guys have bigger bodied deer there so assuming that's true I'd guess he's in the 150s.

There are like seven different sub-species of whitetail deer according the book "The Deer of North America" By Leonard Lee Rue lll and the original poster has that picture from Virginia. They figure that a B&C buck is one in a million and as far as I can learn, Virginia has only a couple dozen B&C bucks registered. Don't get me wrong, that is a shooter for sure, but a guy needs to look at the area and body size to get a good perspective on antler size. What puzzles me is that those huge bodied bucks up in the North East like the Benoit guys tracked had rather small antlers for the majority of those 200# plus dressed bucks.

He disappeared off my cams a month ago I thought he became a $29 daylight trophy.Went Monday morning on the next mountain over and had 2 bucks fighting within 100 yds behind me right before daylight. Around 8am I heard fighting again on the ridge across from me and he came running within 50 yds whatever he was fighting whooped his ass cause he had fresh scars on his eye and his entire ear cartilage was dislocated. When I saw him I thought it was just a decent buck running so my internal "kill that mo fo" instinct kicked in normally I'd have a Winchester model 70 but being the climb I had to make toted my savage 16 308 I bought schit when I found him it was like de ja vu pics are in the image gallery I can't figure out how to load them
